Wow! This beautiful and stunning black heavy satin cocktail dress was designed by Carnegie of London, a very well-known and prominent designer of the period. The dress features a black velvet hemline and iridescent black thread detail work along the front of the skirt with beading trim. The dress is fully lined with the original long metal zip to the back and in immaculate condition for its age. This is a dress that Marilyn or one of the ladies from the rat pack era would have worn proudly on set.
